  1. Mix everything together (can be in a slow cooker or in a pot on the stove) then add the chicken. Stovetop: Cook on medium heat until the chicken is tender (at least an hour). Slow cooker: Cover and cook on high 3-4 hours, or low for 6-7 hours. Serve over brown rice.
